House Bill 961, proposed by state Rep. Michelle Au, would require insurance companies to cover emergency ambulance services at in-network rates, regardless of whether the ambulance provider is in a patient’s insurance network. The bill would apply to Georgians on Medicaid and the state health benefit plan.
