Request an Absentee Ballot

An absentee ballot application must be downloaded, signed, and returned to your County Voter Elections Office before an absentee ballot is issued. Applications are accepted and processed until 5pm, Friday, June 5. However, do not delay as there is no guarantee on delivery time from the postal service; therefore, waiting to apply may limit your ability to receive, vote and return the ballot by Tuesday, June 9th by 7pm.

Vote Early in Person

Early in-person voting will be available for the June 9 Democratic primary election May 18 through June 5. Your County residence determines where and when you can vote early in-person. Below please find the dates, locations, and times available to Fulton and Gwinnett County residents, which are the two counties located in Senate District 48.

Stay Safe! Follow these safety guidelines when voting in-person:  

  • Wear a mask
  • Stay at least 6 feet apart from others
  • Use the hand sanitizer provided after voting
  • Avoid peak times if possible

And remember to thank your poll workers!

Vote on Election Day

Election day is Tuesday, June 9 and polls are open from 7am to 7pm. You can only vote at your polling location on Election Day. You will need to enter your name, birthdate and county of residence to access your polling location.
